Reflection
While completing service learning hours at Ogletree Elementary School in Auburn, AL I had the opportunity to teach a writing unit. I was encouraged by my cooperating teacher to take pictures of the students, the bulletin board I created, and an activity the students completed. Prior to posting pictures to my website I was concerned with whether it was permissible by the Auburn City School District and Ogletree Elementary. The above artifacts show the areas within the student handbook's provided by the Auburn City School District and Ogletree Elementary School regarding pictures of students. According to my readings, it is acceptable to post the pictures I took at the school. Furthermore, I was not notified by my cooperating teacher of any students who provided an opt-out letter. Therefore, I meet district and school regulations of protecting students images and work.
